Vignerons Pinot Noir Santa Barbara County 2021

Vignerons Pinot Noir Santa Barbara County 2021

Vignerons is back, with their KILLER 2021 vintage of simply astounding UNDER $17 Pinot Noir! 93 POINTS
and if you missed it before, don’t miss out again!!!

Somehow, VIGNERONS returned.

No – this isn’t just some lazy, Disney-fied betrayal of Star Wars fans everywhere
we truly don’t know how we got sooooo lucky to score another cache of Vignerons’ Santa Barbara Pinot Noir – but like the huge, gaping holes in Rey’s character arc – sometimes it’s better to simply not dwell on it. Those of you lucky souls who snagged the 2021 Pinot when we offered it out to the hungry hordes of Last Bottle faithful know what a GINORMOUS steal this is. ONLY SIXTEEN DOLLARS!!! A supremely flattering and value-affirming 93 POINT review from Decanter certainly doesn’t hurt
especially when it throws out things like “wonderfully fragrant”, “bold”, and “silky” – YES, SIR! The fruit hails from some of the tippy-top BEST Santa Barbara vineyards – including the famed Bien Nacido plot, and the neighboring North Canyon vineyard – a longtime staple of Etude’s killer Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir. The man behind VIGNERONS, Michael Brughelli, is a former firefighter who just so happened to be Bien Nacido’s Vineyard Sales Manager when a massive wildfire threatened both properties in 2017. As the fires shifted to threaten nearby communities, the vineyards were left to the whims of Mother Nature, and Michael became a de facto fire chief, spearheading the efforts of local vintners to save the historic properties. He’s had the bat-line access to fruit from both vineyards ever since (well deserved, I would say), and now, we – you, me, everyone in the Last Bottle universe – get to reap the rewards!

Michael’s $200+ bottles of Central Coast Pinot and Chard under his BRUVGHELLI wines are the buzz of the wine world, but I’ll say again
as great as those are
I’m pretty hard-pressed to bypass this GLORIOUS 93-point Santa Barbara Pinot for just $16!

And the wine?! Oh baby, it SINGS! Floral notes of lilacs and lavender, with this gentle dusting of baby powder freshness, and strawberries, and those little raspberry linzer shortbread cookies, with a background spice of cinnamon, and a lingering note of delicate rooibos tea. This is elegant, but not light or wimpy in any way, just perfectly and pristinely balanced. If you’re lucky – you might find this at a handful of restaurants and boutique wine shops in California – but if you’re SMART
you’ll jump now and get this at the sort of price that is simply too stunning to be believed! All for nearly 60% OFF?!? UNDER $17? YES!!!!
