Stuhlmuller Vineyards Pinot Noir Russian River Valley 2022

Stuhlmuller Vineyards Pinot Noir Russian River Valley 2022

94 POINTS! Call Herr Doktor, good people, Stuhlmuller’s crazy delectable Russian River pinot is in Das Haus!

Stuhlmuller!!! Over 40 years of delectable Sonoma grapes, and this RRV pinot noir might well be the very BEST wine I’ve ever had from them. No cap, pinky swear, touch blue make it true…just straight truth. There are so many reasons for you to snag a few of these (64% OFF! 94 POINTS!) ultra-classy, amazingly pedigreed pinots, we might need another web page just to list them all! First off, if you are a lover of the finer things in life, like inky, cherry and cola-laden wines of supreme delectableness – go, now, and get some before we sell out! Serious brilliance here for a price that is almost…ALMOST…too good to be true!

OK - here's the scoop: Roger and Carmen Stuhlmuller purchased the 150-acre Alexander Valley property back in 1982, with much of the property already planted in the 1970s. They sold fruit to some of Napa’s and Sonoma’s finest (Souverain and Simi to name a few), and in the mid-90s, their son, Fritz, decided to keep some of the fruit and make their own wines. This pinot is one of the few wines they make outside of their estate fruit – and they make the best of some long-time relationships to score access to a couple of Russian River’s premier vineyards – including a 30+-year-old parcel planted by Gary Farrell, and farmed by generations of the famed Ulises Valdez clan. Pinot paradise. "Seamless" is a great word for this wine (we think our price is seamless too) – no scratchy edges, just pure, complex, elegant wine with tons of fine cherries and berries, toasty Asian spices, rich, warm earth, cranberry, and little flecks of minerals that just float across your tongue like some magic elixir. THAT is what we're talkin' about! 94 POINTS!

Classic Russian River beauty – and what a steal too! Under $30!!! While it lasts!
