2003, good people! Did you score those MAGNUMS earlier? ‘Cause this just might be the ultimate companion bottle. The Yin to your Yang, if you will. I’m POPPING these on the regular…and they flat-out ROCK! 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc – 100% age-defying, stupendously and outrageously delectable Spring Mountain District goodness! 

What a DAY!!! We’re BLAZING through Elivette like Method Man on a Sunday morning, and we’re nowhere near done yet!!!  Who’s ready for 97 POINT HALF BOTTLES? This 2003 needs a home – and if I bring any more to stash under my bed…my other half will ensure that I’m looking for a home, too! 

Remarkably fresh for a 22-year-old half bottle – still loaded with sultry cherries and blackberries that just explode out the bottle, and followed with all the perfectly integrated baking spice notes of vanilla, clove, black pepper, and seductively sweet essence of roasted sage leaves. The heat of the 2003 vintage makes this ripe and fruit-forward, yet the always reliable acidity and structure of Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon have this pulsing with life and vivacity!  HUZZAH! 97 POINTS of pure, perfectly aged PERFECTION!
