Ron Noble Pinot Noir Estate Reserve Petaluma Gap 2019

Ron Noble Pinot Noir Estate Reserve Petaluma Gap 2019

I warned ya! Didn’t I warn ya? Ok…I’m a big believer in second chances…93 POINT RESERVE pinot noir comin’ at ya!

Huzzah!!! That went mighty quick – and I’m sad to be the one who tells you…there’s even less of this beauty! Amazing vintage, phenomenal estate in the Petaluma Gap, with 100 pt. winemaking wonder that is Megan Baccitich of Paul Hobbs fame. The similarities to Paul Hobbs are striking…minus the triple $$$ price tag, of course). This RESERVE pinot noir spends an additional 3 months on 60% new French oak to get that extra polish and depth of spice – but at the end of the day, we’re talking same great fruit, same attentive farming and winemaking – but with a particular focus on those hefty, brawny, extra-concentrated lots and blocks. Mostly Dijjon 667 clone in the mix, for all you clone-heads out there (no shame – I’m with ya!), but for those of you that don’t give two hoots about clones, owl I’ve got to say (get it?) is that this soars with notes of framboise and raspberry, some sweet and savory cigar box notes, even a dash or two of aromatic teas, all with a heaping handful of confectionery candies thrown in for good measure. Gorgeous now five years in, but with a brooding depth that will power this up for at least a decade more.

Pedigreed pinot noir and a delightfully approachable price! Nearly 60% off – don’t you dare miss TWICE!!!
