But that only adds to the explosiveness here, all fully stocked and ready to rock with inky blackberries, and floral lavender and lilacs, followed by this juicy, red-fruit core of raspberries and cherries. Plenty of mocha-dusted chocolate truffles, too, and this sort of anise-soaked biscuit cookie thing that just gets me drooling all over my laptop. Flecks of savory herbs and crushed gravel minerality give this depth to age, and a few vigorous swirls in the glass only serves to bring this roaring out the glass.
