- Both 100% Sangiovese wines (100 + 99 POINTS respectively) are from a famed proprietary clone of Sangiovese Grosso that has been with the family since the 1870s, which they brought from one of the most famous vineyards in all of Italy.

- The 98 POINT, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was called out for “remarkable compactness and tension” that offers a mesmerizing glimpse into “its future potential.” This Cabernet is like nothing you’ve ever experienced – one part cool and wild like an old-school, top-growth Bordeaux, and one part warm, spiced, and luxurious like your favorite Napa Cult Cab…with a dash that is uniquely Italia thrown in!

I popped in to visit this incredible Tuscan estate a few weeks back, and perhaps the most remarkable takeaway was how vastly different each parcel is – from the soil make-up, to the exposure, and even the climate. These differences are showcased in each of the wines, as they are all made in the same exacting and intentional style, and aged under the same conditions, for the same period of time. The results speak of the land, the grapes, and the season itself – and my word…DO THESE EVER ROCK!!!
