There’s plenty of juicy and decadent fruit, too – with black cherries and red currants, followed deftly by this Christmas medley combo of cranberries, cinnamon, clove, allspice, and zesty strips of orange peel. Earthy and warm notes of pine, cedar, and black trumpet mushrooms add a grounding depth to the finish, and this savoury and powerful pinot is rip-roaring and raring to go – for as long as we have it, that is!
