Here. We. GOOOOO! 95 Point Alder Springs Pinot Noir! How’s THAT for a Grand Finale?!?! Pretty sweet, right? I’ve ranted and raved about Alder Spring Vineyard many a time before – and what’s not to love?! 140 acres planted on a series of undulating hills, way above the fog line up to nearly 3,000 feet, with a HUGE diversity of every grape imaginable (but Pinot is my favorite…). 

This 2022 is WILD, y’all. Alpine strawberries, ripe raspberries, with tart and spicy Christmas notes, and this savory roasted herb and grilled meat character that just pulls you in! It’s got a jolt of zippy acidity, and this rocky, almost volcanic minerality – CRAZY complex, basically. But super-delicious, even young, and ready to leave you scratching your head about the sort of prices you’ve allowed yourself to pay for fine Pinot Noir up to this point. We’ve reset the bar today!
