Intuition de Fleur Cardinale Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2020

Whether referring to the most epic “sick day” in the history of cinema OR this spectacular Grand Cru St. Emilion with DOUBLE 91 POINTS (!) and 55% OFF, from the very fine 2020 vintage in Bordeaux…Ferris was right, of course!! We’re seriously lean on the inventory of this killer Bordeaux so we snuck this in on a (hopefully) quiet Saturday so maybe it will not disappear in a flash. But no promises, because….this stuff CRUSHES it at our price!! Bordeaux Grand Cru, kids! Yeeeehaaa!

CHATEAU FLEUR CARDINALE is one of the MOST sought-after St. Emilion wines, you can Google the long history of big scores, and in fact, the older brother of this wine scored a whopping 95 pts from a number of top critics! “Intuition” is the estate’s second wine, and at FAR less in price, but still rocking a 91 point score (and some pretty special tasting notes, too). Anyway, second wines are often melon-twisting values and bang-for-buck, not to mention often hard to find here in the good ‘ol USA because they get snapped up in Europe! Especially in EPIC vintages like 2020 – perhaps my favorite En Primeur line-up of world-class young Bordeauxs EVER! Long story short, we know a guy, who knows a guy...and we bought every single bottle of this deliciousness we could!! Don’t blink, you’ll miss it!

There are several super-consultants working at this Grand Cru, and you can TASTE it. Rich, satiny, and powerful, it’s sexy, plush stuff with a beefy, luxurious personality. Chocolate-covered cherries, blackberry pie, lots of spicy cinnamon and cigar box notes, layers of spice, and ripe bursting blueberries...SO GOOD! And, let’s just say it…terrifyingly drinkable!!! The office crushed this on Friday afternoon, and man, what a treat! THE PRICE!! 55% off?! While it lasts!
