Incredible floral and high-toned notes – like the most elegant pinot noir you’ve ever tasted, plus these tingly red and blue fruits like cabernet franc on steroids, all with this savory roasted herbs, and coffee bean elements that would make Northern Rhone Syrah blush like a schoolgirl – MENCIA is an experience that has to be tasted to be believed. Then this cascade of tart, sour, and sweet red fruits – cranberries, cherries, raspberries, red currants – followed by juicy blueberries, with some sultry, toasty mocha dusting, and fresh-roasted coffee bean TORREFACTION (love that word!) with this hyper-refreshing note of hibiscus agua fresca, and these silky, velvety smooth tannins that give this structure, and mouthfeel, and a simply never-ending finish. HUZZAH, this is good!
