This is even MORE limited than the Mixed Blacks, with a total production of only about 200 cases. The unbridled POWER and never-ending grace of the fabled 2013 vintage is stamped all over this like a wine-buyer’s passport, and if you LOVE cult-worthy Cab Blends like I know you do — this is not to be missed!!! 

Dusty and concentrated, with inky black plums and black currants, then spiced figs, and brandied cherries, plus a meaty, robust savoriness that infuses itself across all else. Brooding? Oh, yes. Beastly? Like a caged wolverine, my friends! But is it delicious? One hundred and twenty percent YES!!! Kirsch, and dark chocolate truffles, with espresso, and tobacco, then vanilla, and black cherries, and a bit of apocalyptic brimstone for good measure. This is a NOT FOR THE SHY benchmark, wine lovers, and as Cult Napa to its obsidian core, as just about anything I’ve tried all year and beyond. UNDER $60 makes this an absolutely INSANE deal — especially when you consider the total production for this wine.
