But wait…just like your favorite Ginsu knives – there’s MORE!!! Griva Vineyard stands about 10 miles due east of Big Sur, close to the Pacific, yet shielded by the Santa Lucia Mountains, in the heart of the Arroyo Seco AVA. The Griva family has continuously farmed this land for 120 years – and their 57 acres of Sauvignon Blanc are utterly top notch. 100% Musque Sauvignon Blanc…making it extra-hypnotic, and simply chockablock with the scents and sensations of summer. Plum blossoms, and marjoram, with white grapefruit kick off the aromas, followed by orange oil, and white nectarines, with plenty of chalk minerality, and a warming spice note finish of clove and lime leaf. Crazy complex, and ridiculously delicious – even for the typical price of $28. At TWELVE DOLLARS, this is downright unmissable.
